Standish, Maine

Cumberland county. This township is bounded on the N. and N.E. by Sebago lake, and S.W. by Saco river. It lies 68 miles S.W. from Augusta and 16 N.W. from Portland. This is a good farming town with two pleasant villages. Incorporated, 1785. Population, 1837, 2,270.
