Pleasant Rivers, Maine
Pleasant River, in Washington county, rises from a pond in Beddington, and passing in a N.E. direction falls into Pleasant river bay, which lies E. from Naraguagus bay, and is connected with that bay, at its mouth.
Pleasant River, Piscataquis county, is an important mill stream; a tributary of the Piscataquis from the north. It receives the two Ebeeme branches, as they are called, about 15 miles from its mouth, in Milo.
