Greenwood, Maine

Oxford county. Incorporated, 1815. Population, 1837, 754. It lies 58 miles W. by S. from Augusta and 7 N.W. from Paris. This is a township of excellent land. The inhabitants are generally engaged in agricultural pursuits.
